Following Quantum World Congress in Maryland, Archer CEO Dr Simon Ruffell and Executive Chair Greg English visited our strategic partner IonQ to continue the work underway through our Quantum Compute Agreement.
The partnership is focused on building quantum computing capability and commercial opportunities across Australia and New Zealand. Archer has secured multi-year access to IonQ’s Quantum Cloud to support the development of quantum algorithms and applications, while the two companies are also working together to assess the future deployment of an IonQ quantum computer in Australia.
Importantly, the work is already underway.
Archer is building local capability to help organisations explore and apply quantum computing to real-world problems, including through our recently launched Quantum Commercial Pilot Challenge, alongside customer engagement, technical capability building and application development.
The visit was another opportunity for Dr Simon and Greg to spend time with the IonQ team, progress our collaboration and continue discussions around the opportunities ahead.
Our team is looking forward connue building on the partnership and working together to expand access to advanced quantum computing capability in Australia.
Archer Materials invites APAC organisations to propose focused commercial problems that could benefit from quantum computing. Selected pilots receive two or more hours of quantum compute access, costs covered by Archer. Find out more about the challenge here
